The objectives of Safety Groups UK are:
- To provide a forum and a platform for safety groups to debate key issues and to influence key stakeholders in the formulation of health and safety strategy and policy
- To advance and promote education in all areas of health and safety
- To disseminate information to member health and safety groups on all health and safety matters of potential interest and best practice
- To enter into partnerships with other health and safety agencies and organisations having similar objectives, including their role in outreach and raising awareness
- To promote the membership and work of UK Health and Safety Groups, especially among small and medium enterprises.
