Scotland Ceremony - Winners' Information
The 2011 RoSPA Scotland Occupational Health and Safety Awards ceremony and gala dinner offers the perfect opportunity to celebrate your organisation's achievement and commitment to raising the standards of health and safety management. There is no better way to recognise the efforts of all who have contributed to your success.
This year has seen yet another record number of entries for the RoSPA Awards, and following the popular Birmingham ceremonies earlier in the year, we anticipate high demand for the RoSPA Scotland event. Therefore, early booking is highly recommended.

Not yet received your winner's pack?
Winner's information packs contain full details of the awards ceremony and proceedings, and will be emailed to the lead contact by mid July 2011.
Late entries will receive their results by the end of July 2011. Results for overseas entrants will be despatched via airmail and will take longer to arrive, depending on the destination. Please be advised that we will not release results by phone or email, and that requests for results will slow down the formal notification process. Winner's information for late entries will follow within seven working days of the result notification being sent.
Verification Visits
The Awards Judging Panel will request verification visits to randomly-selected organisations. If your organisation is among those selected we will notify you by telephone to make the necessary arrangements.
Presentation Ceremonies
The 2011 RoSPA Scotland Occupational Health and Safety Awards Ceremonies will take place on September 22, 2011 in the Ballroom of the Glasgow Hilton Hotel.
Your registration time and presentation group number will be included in your Winner's information email. Award-winning organisations are required to provide details of the person nominated to receive their organisation's award. Complete and submit the Presentation Ceremony form by August 19, 2011.

Photographs
The official RoSPA photographers will be present at the ceremony to record each award presentation in full colour. Each award winner will receive one copy of the presentation photograph free of charge. Photographs will be sized 8" x 6" and provided suitably mounted. These will be despatched 10 working days after the ceremonies. If a copy of the presentation photograph is required sooner than this, please order the high-resolution JPEG version which can be sent via email from the week commencing September 26, 2011.
Extra copies or high-resolution JPEG version of your presentation photograph
If you wish to order extra copies of your photograph, or a high-resolution electronic copy via email, simply complete the Photograph Order Form no later than August 19, 2011.
Group photograph
Successful health and safety management undoubtedly involves team effort. A great way to recognise the whole team's contribution is with a group photograph.
To order please complete the Photograph Order Form no later than August 19, 2011; or alternatively visit the Help Desk in the Ballroom Foyer once you have collected your award. Group photographs are £40.00 plus VAT per image.
Award winners should note that only the official RoSPA photographers will be permitted to take photographs of the award presentations.
Gala Dinner
The evening proceedings will commence at 6:45pm with a drinks reception in the Ballroom foyer, followed by a glittering Gala Dinner. Some of this year's top awards will be presented before a superb five-course meal. After dinner entertainment will be provided by Willie Young followed by a popular selection of live music and dancing.
The dress code for the evening is lounge suit, smart evening wear or traditional Scottish dress.
Each Award-winning organisation is entitled to ONE free ticket* to the Award Winners' Gala Dinner. Extra tickets are available at £134.00 per person, tables of 10 at £1,195.00 or tables of 12 at £1,425.00, all prices quoted are plus 20% VAT.

Venue and Accommodation
Awards Venue September 22, 2011: Hilton Glasgow Hotel
The centrally located Hilton Glasgow hotel is only minutes away from Glasgow's shopping district and 8 miles from Glasgow Airport.
Situated just off the M8 motorway at the edge of the city centre, the Hilton Glasgow hotel is within easy reach of popular Glasgow attractions such as the Glasgow Science Centre and Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre.

Accommodation
RoSPA has negotiated a special rate* for overnight accommodation at the Hilton Glasgow hotel. Hilton Guest Rooms are £130 for single or double occupancy and includes full buffet breakfast in Minsky's - all room prices are inclusive of VAT.

All RoSPA Award winners are entitled to publicise their achievement. For this purpose, an access code and full instructions on how to download the appropriate award logo file is emailed to the lead contact within seven working days of the result notification being sent.

Finding opportunity amidst cuts and changes
