Winners 2005 : Sir George Earle Trophy

In 1954, the late Sir George Earle, then president of the Associated Portland Cement Manufacturers Ltd, delivered an address to the National Industrial Safety Conference on the importance of competition, achievement and reward; then supporting his words with action, he presented the silver Victorian inkstand now known as the Sir George Earle Trophy, for annual competition.

It is awarded for the most outstanding performance in health and safety by a company or organisation.
