RoSPA Chauffeur Training enables professional chauffeurs to bear the considerable responsibility for maintaining the security and safety of senior management and VIP's whilst chauffeuring them to their destinations.

Note: Delegates must have studied the 'Highway Code', and ideally the ‘Roadcraft Manual’, prior to attending this course.

Course objectives
This course aims to provide professional chauffeurs with the appropriate understanding and skills to meet the requirements of senior management.

By the end of the course delegates will have been made aware of and should be able to deal with:

  • Potential dangers pertaining to both security and safety whilst chauffeuring VIPs to their destinations
  • The necessary equipment required and professional advice for maintaining vehicle cleanliness (“be proud and professional”)
  • Car etiquette – do’s and don’ts when entering and leaving the car
  • Attitude of mind and approach to the job

Who should attend?
Professional chauffeurs and drivers wishing to pursue a career in this field.

Additional information
Delegates will take the RoSPA Advanced Driving Test on the final day of the course.
A thorough knowledge of Roadcraft and the latest edition of The Highway Code is expected.
This course runs on a 3:1 delegate to trainer ratio. (Delegate ratios may vary depending on vehicle type.)
