14th May 2008 Workplace transport is the second largest cause of accidents in the workplace. Each year approximately 70 people are killed and 2,000 seriously injured in accidents involving vehicles in and around workplaces. In addition there are around 5,000 injuries that cause people to be off work for more than three days. This conference, which includes expert speakers from a wide spectrum, will offer delegates briefing on: current accident, injury and enforcement trends; key standards required by HSE; effective solutions to workplace transport safety issues; and signposting to sources of guidance and help.
