A member of staff has been diagnosed as diabetic and will need to take insulin. What workplace precautions need to be put in place?
If they have only started taking insulin, it will take time for this to settle down so the organisation needs to show a higher duty of care based on the type of work that is being done. Ensure that he/she is able to take insulin at work if required and that first aiders are also aware.
