Hazard Perception Challenge

The Hazard Perception Challenge is a fully interactive and educational online resource. It is a skills course, not an exam. The system has been designed to help drivers and riders enhance their scanning skills.
Upon purchase, you will be provided with a series of short clips showing real life driving and riding situations and lots of examples of hazards. Your task is to watch the clips and imagine you are the driver or rider. During the course you will need to click the mouse as you see each potential hazard, and continue clicking if the potential hazard develops into actual danger.
The Challenge website automatically tracks your results and keeps a log of your performance in your personal control panel. You can check your progress and identify your probable result in the national Hazard Perception Test. The Challenge is designed specifically to develop skills and the scoring system is set to highlight where you've done well and where you need to keep practising.
When you review the clip you can rewind it, pause, skip and replay. The outer border of the screen will flash to remind you where you clicked. To identify the timing when the potential or actual hazard should ideally have been seen, either blue or yellow circles will appear. You can review each individual clip as you go along.
The Hazard Perception Challenge also provides theory preparation and mock tests. There are 2526 questions as used in the official national theory test. The mock tests are all fully interactive and contain all the knowledge needed to pass the National Driving Theory Test as part of the route to a full licence. It is also an excellent resource for refreshing knowledge and for keeping drivers and riders up to date with changes in signs and the rules of the Highway Code. There are pictures, diagrams, an optional timer and a review facility for each test. You can create a new car or motorcycle test at any time.
The course is suitable for those learning to drive or ride, drivers of company vehicles and companies with fleets of vehicles. Those involved directly in the training of drivers and motorcyclists will also benefit significantly from The Challenge. For drivers and riders with experience it's a great way to refresh and challenge skills. There are great benefits too for children and the elderly.
