Downloading Files
You'll find that downloadable documents on the RoSPA site have icons to indicate what sort of file they are, and what program you'll need to be able to read them.
Wherever possible we have converted documents into Adobe PDF format. Most operating systems can download and run the software needed to read PDF files, called Abobe Reader.
File Types and Icons
File descriptions are followed by icons, and their file size in Kilobytes (KB) or Megabytes (MB).

Reading Files
Typically you will need Adobe Reader or Microsoft Office to read these types of file, however you can download various programs to be able to read Word, Excel and PowerPoint files.

Microsoft has produced their own read-only Viewers for Windows PCs
You can also download free office applications such as OpenOffice which will allow you to read and edit documents too.
Lastly, Adobe provides a free PDF to text or HTML service on their website so that screen-reader users can read PDF content easily. Click here to use the service.
