Customising the Home Page

You can customise the RoSPA Home Page with up to ten docks - small, moveable windows that fit on to the page - if you're a RoSPA Member or if you've signed up with a free website account. These docks help you jump to the most useful parts of the site and are saved to your profile so they appear where you left them next time you visit the site.

1. Sign in

To start customising the home page with docks you need to sign in. Existing Members can log in to the site with their details, new Members will be sent their log in details by email.

You can also sign up for a free web site account, if you do not wish to become a RoSPA Member.

Create a Website Account or Become a RoSPA Member [Join RoSPA].

2. Customise

After signing in, scroll to the bottom of the Home Page and find the 'My RoSPA' dock. There are ten categories to choose from. Tick the box next to a category to load the dock, and untick the box to remove it. You can tick as many or as few as you want.

Docks such as Road Safety and Leisure Safety contain links to useful pages in those sections, whereas docks such as News Feed and Events will keep you up to date with the latest happenings right on the Home Page.

3. Explore

Play videos within the docks, or scroll through the latest press releases.

If you're a RoSPA Member you can choose to view Member News too.

4 & 5. Re-arrange and re-set

You can move these docks around the Home Page as you would a window on your desktop. Once you've moved the dock it will stay in that position until you move it, even if you move away from the RoSPA website and re-visit at a later time.

Click and hold the title bar of the dock (4), drag it to a different position, and let go (5).

6. Resetting

To reset the docks to their default positions (all off) scroll down to the 'My RoSPA' dock and click 'Reset to Defaults'.
