All over the country, more and more people are making increased use of electricity in their gardens: taking the backache out of lawnmowing and hedge-trimming and keeping gardens neat and tidy.

Remember: For safety always use an RCD (residual current device) with outdoor electrical equipment. This switches the supply off automatically when it detects an earth fault. Never use electrical gardening equipment in wet or damp conditions.
