Home Safety Staff in Scotland
Elizabeth Lumsden
Elizabeth is the community safety manager for Scotland. She has worked with RoSPA for 16 years in both the home and road safety departments and her current focus is on delivering the Scottish Government grant-funded work programme in home safety. She is also currently a director of the Scottish Community Safety Network and represents Scotland on the European Child Safety Alliance.
RoSPA aims to ensure that "people in Scotland live in safer home environments" and Elizabeth manages the following activities:
- Providing safety information, support and training for practitioners
- Public promotion and awareness-raising
- Strategic influencing and awareness-raising at local, national and European level
- Gathering and disseminating evidence and research.

Jennifer Henderson
Jennifer is RoSPA Scotland's home safety officer and has a wide range of duties. These include:
- Providing information in response to incoming inquiries
- Training
- Presentations
- Working on safety campaigns
- Lobbying for improved injury data collection and dissemination
- Presence at key exhibitions
- Undertaking any other duties as appropriate to meet objectives in RoSPA Scotland’s business plan.
