An Introduction to Home Safety
The role of voluntary and professional practitioners in promoting accident prevention is vital if there is to be a long-term reduction in attendances at A & E departments and GP surgeries.
Home accidents can lead to unnecessary pain and suffering and to long stays in hospital. This course is designed to provide an overview of the accident problem and an insight into injury prevention in critical areas.
For candidates in England and Wales, a one hour exam can be taken in Autumn or Spring each year. For those in Northern Ireland, separate arrangements apply.
