Leisure Safety : Professional Services
RoSPA’s Leisure Safety Consultants not only cover leisure pursuits on land, in or near water, but also accident prevention around canals, rivers, the sea, lakes and an increasing number of public and private sites. Of the 435 drownings each year, many are preventable accidents. RoSPA’s inland water and pool operator training are just two of the ways in which we are working to reduce this tragic toll.
The Leisure Safety department offers advice to professionals and public alike, and acts as an advocate for safety improvement in the field of leisure.
