This publication is currently being revised. It provides operators with a risk assessment framework appropriate to accident prevention at water sites, including an application of the specific water hazards to be considered in the development of water safety strategies. It aims to engender a more uniform and consistent approach to risk control at Britain's inland water sites.

Library & Information Services
The Leisure Safety department has various information services available to assist RoSPA members as well as members of the public. Leisure safety-specific publications, articles, and case studies and expertise can be drawn on. It is supported by the RoSPA Infocentre that provides a library and information service free of charge for RoSPA members. The Infocentre has books and journals that members have access to, and enquiries that are more technical are answered by safety consultants who are experts in the specific area of enquiry.
