TOP AWARD FOR ROSPA TRAINER
Dee Arp of The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents is the winner of a new national occupational health and safety award.
Dee, an occupational health and safety trainer/consultant for RoSPA, has been presented with the ACT Anabel Jay Award for achieving the best nationwide NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) Diploma Part I result.
The NEBOSH diploma is highly coveted by those working in the health and safety field.
Dee, who lives in Coventry, has been with RoSPA for six years and worked in the road safety department before moving into occupational training.
"I am delighted to have been chosen to receive this award, especially as Anabel Jay was a former colleague and friend," she said. "The NEBOSH diploma is difficult to obtain and I am looking forward to completing the second part with the same degree of success so that I can become a full member of IOSH. "
She was presented with a certificate, cheque and a commemorative crystal bowl at the IOSH ‘98 conference and exhibition in Harrogate.
