LAST CHANCE FOR BUSINESSES TO ENTER RoSPA AWARDS

Now is the last chance for businesses and organisations to show their commitment to safety at work by entering the UK’s leading safety scheme, RoSPA’s 2005 Occupational Health and Safety Awards, sponsored by RMC Group plc.

The awards are open to all sectors of industry and commerce including education, service industries, national defence, electronics, textiles and oil, gas and water.

Last year there were nearly 1,100 winners and the closing date for entries to the 2005 awards is February 28.

Businesses large and small have equal chances of winning an award. Previous RoSPA award winners range from large companies such as MITIE Engineering Services Ltd., Costain Ltd, Tibbett & Britten and many small organisations.

Presentations will be made to the 2005 award winners on Wednesday, May 18, and Thursday, May 19, at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, alongside ‘Safety and Health Expo 2005’ and at a one-day event in early September in Glasgow alongside ‘RoSPA Scotland 2005’.
