10/08/04 : RoSPA ON COURSE FOR TEACHER RISK ASSESMENT AWARENESS

A survey by RoSPA has revealed that over 95 per cent of new teachers have not undergone risk assessment training and were unaware of the need for conducting risk assessments in and outside the classroom. A further 74 per cent of respondents to the questionnaire had not received any health and safety training as part of their induction to a school. Full Story»

New good practice guidelines have been launched by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents for schemes which provide opportunities for children, adolescents and the elderly to learn about safety and accident prevention in an interactive mock setting. 03/10/03 : HELPING BIRMINGHAM CHILDREN TO STAY SAFE AT HOME

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents is to run home safety activity sessions for Birmingham children, aged 5-13, to help them become more aware of accidents in the home.
