Services Our services include: Home Safety Training – RoSPA City & Guilds accredited training courses focus on accidents and their prevention in Northern Ireland and courses include Child Safety in the Home, Older People – Safety in the Home, Implementing Home Safety Checks, and Choosing and Using Home Safety Equipment. RoSPA training courses are available to everybody, including voluntary, community and statutory organisations. RoSPA also offer tailored training courses, developed specifically to meet the needs of your organisation/group. Products and Resources – RoSPA offer a range of safety resources to develop the injury prevention programme for any sector (educational, industrial, commercial, or voluntary) in any environment. Project Management – RoSPA identifies gaps in service provision, research and education and is innovative in finding ways to best meet those needs. Examples include using drama to tackle specific issues such as firework safety and the development of tools such as video/training/teaching resources. Campaigns – RoSPA’s campaigns focus around key issues being tackled in Northern Ireland each year, such as reducing falls in older people, childhood poisoning or lobbying for safer design of homes and products. Sharing Good Practice – RoSPA use seminars, workshops and exhibitions to share evidence of ‘what works’ in accident prevention.
