- Pre Drama awareness of possibility of fires in the home was high amongst the 8-11 year old age group
- Equally knowledge of fire safety measures was quite high
- However pre-drama levels of engagement and interest in the issues very low
- Call to Action also low
- The drama has succeeded in
- Reinforcing levels of awareness and knowledge
- Increasing levels of knowledge in some areas
- Significantly raising levels of engagement with the issues of fire in the home
- Increasing call to action
- Finally, good drama in general and Flaming Fables in particular, felt to be an enjoyable and enabling way of involving this age group in issues such as fire in the home
