Approximately 1.6 million work place injuries occur in the UK each year, of which 380, 000 are reportable to the HSE or local authority. With these statistics in mind, RoSPA has identified a number of key issues that need to be addressed regarding workplace safety and improvements in accident prevention. The department works with key players to ensure that information, education, training and publicity resources are available to all.
