Best Practice in Risk Assessment
 Health and safety management can succeed or fail depending on the effectiveness of an organisation’s risk assessments. But once you have mastered the basic principles, how do you ensure that your risk assessments are suitable and help you make the right decisions about Risk Management? This new course, structured around Annexe E of BS8800:2004, encourages delegates to adopt a systems approach to managing safely, identifying risk assessment as a key technique in planning and implementing effective risk control. The programme gives delegates the confidence that their approach is correct, as on return to the workplace delegates undertake an assessment of a specific risk and submit it to RoSPA for verification. |
What will they learn? ● Linkages between BS8800:2004 Annexe E and best practice in risk assessment ● How to compare and contrast a variety of risk assessment methods ● How to correlate this with the specifics of their workplace ● How to apply this knowledge in their own workplace by carrying out an assessment and submitting it for RoSPA verification. |
