Get More From Your Driving : Where Can I Find Out More?
Details of local driving schools can be found in the local press, directories such as Yellow Pages or on the internet – look for ones who say they provide refresher courses.
A free online service, 'Find your nearest driving instructors' is available in the Learners and New Drivers and Riders section of the Direct Gov website. Look for ones who have signed up to DSA's voluntary continuing professional development (CPD) scheme and voluntary code of practice. This means that they have agreed to spend at least seven hours every year updating and refreshing their skills and knowledge.
Information about refresher and other driver training courses in your area is available from your local Road Safety Officer. Contact your Local Authority or www.roadsafetygb.org.uk.
