Road Safety in Citizenship 2: A Key Stage 4 Resource
This resource comprises teachers’ notes and student sheets on four topics: ‘Speed’, ‘Motorcycling’, ‘Crashes’ and ‘Starting Work/Work Experience’.
The resource links with the KS4 Citizenship agenda. It gives the opportunity for student-led activity, and is designed to allow students to ‘dip into’ it when time permits. Each student sheet contains key facts, ideas for discussion, activities and links to relevant websites. Working in groups, pairs or individually, the students, are encouraged to research the information they need, using the Internet. The Teachers’ Notes contain background information and advice on Learning Outcomes.
