Forklift Fine Reinforces Need For Management of Workplace Transport

Management Of Workplace Transport A Leicester builder’s merchant has recently been fined  £44,000 and ordered to pay £4,000 costs after failure to segregate vehicles and pedestrians resulted in a customer breaking his ankle having been hit by a forklift. This highlights the importance of managing this HSE key issue, which remains the second biggest cause of accidents in the workplace.

RoSPA’s Workplace Transport Consultancy helps organisations by providing an expert to assess the specifics of individual workplaces and formulate an action plan.
