NEW Date Added - Seatbelts and Child Seat Laws Briefing |
New laws relating to child seats and seat belts are due in force in September 2006. RoSPA’s half day briefings will educate organisations, of the impact these changes will have. Briefings in Birmingham are now SOLD OUT and only a few places remain in Scotland. Due to popular demand an additional briefing has been scheduled for 10th October North East Wales Institute of Higher Education, Wrexham.

New Police Initiative to Target Those Using Mobile Phones While Driving for Work |

Under a new pilot scheme, police stopping those driving for work for motoring offences, such as use of a handheld mobile phone, may request evidence from their employers that health and safety legislation relating to ‘Driving at Work’ is being complied with. Improvement notices and fines will be issued where necessary.
