Surfing to safety

More than one in three road crashes involve young people under twenty. It is not always easy for any of us to appreciate our speed, and how easily driving too fast can get us into trouble, but now there are a few ways to assess this easily online using new interactive software – a waSurfing to safetyy which could appeal to this younger age group in particular. Take a look at the following sites, and, if you like them, why not recommend them to family and others to take a look?

RoSPA's online interactive simulator is available to test now at www.stoppingdistances.org.uk and www.deadlymates.com and www.checkyourspeed.org.uk are websites battling for the prevention of such tragedies created by the Midlands & South Wales Safety Camera Partnership.

Another useful site to challenge young drivers is www.roadar.org/youngdrivers/challenge.htm
