RoSPA's safety and risk education department currently has four main projects.
Teen Safety and Risk
RoSPA is developing a youth network for teenagers aged 14-19 who want to learn more about how to keep themselves safe on the road, at leisure, in the home or in the workplace. If this sounds like you, find out more about the RoSPA Youth Network by visting the Teen Safety and Risk website.
Our other projects:
- Young Drivers
Young and novice drivers are more likely to be involved in road accidents than more experienced drivers. They are more likely to be involved in accidents at high-speed, in the dark, when overtaking and when negotiating bends. They are also more likely than experienced drivers to be at fault for collisions.
- LASER
Learning About Safety by Experiencing Risk (LASER) is a powerful interactive approach to safety education that takes place outside the classroom.
