The LASER Project : Good Practice Guidelines
LASER schemes provide an opportunity for school children to learn about safety and the prevention of accidental injuries in realistic settings. At LASER schemes, children may meet safety experts such as firefighters, road safety officers, coastguards or trained guides. They are able to experience risky situations first hand and learn how to deal with them in a controlled and supervised environment.
