The focus of much of the press comment was on children not being allowed out to play to the same extent as they were in the past. You can read RoSPA's reponse to the consultation for the enquiry below. In our comments we highlight the importance of adults helping children to develop an understanding of risk in a range of environments.
RoSPA recognises that parents, teachers and a wide range of agencies share the responsibility for keeping children as safe as necessary while enabling them to learn how to live confidently and safely in a world of risk.
