 This two day course enables all those who work in an operating
theatre gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to move and
handle safely.The course is held in a realistic theatre training
environment, fully equipped tomirror delegates’ work environments. |
Who Should Attend? Nursing staff, operating practitioners, portering staff and those with responsibility for safe moving and handling within operating theatres. What will the delegate bring back to the workplace? ● A thorough understanding of health and safety legislation pertaining tomoving and handling ● Knowledge of biomechanics, spinal awareness and efficient body movement ● An understanding of risk assessments and ergonomics in practice ● The skills to employ practical techniques for safemoving and handling within a theatre environment |
