Our new look
Let's make something clear. We're proud of our heritage. From leading the campaign to put an end to drink driving in the '60s, to laying the path that led to the ban on mobile phones behind the wheel in the '00s, for the last 100 years we've strived to make a lasting difference to society, saving millions of lives along the way.
However, despite the fantastic leaps we've made over the years – particularly on our roads and in the workplace – accidents remain the biggest threat to you and your family for most your life. Children are at particular risk, with a shocking 450,000 children ending up in A&E every year following an accident at home. That's almost one child every minute.
Worst of all, is that we know that these accidents don't have to happen.
With that in mind, we've decided to refine our focus slightly, to make sure we're reaching those who need our help the most, both now and in the future. We might have taught your grandma to cross the road and your dad to ride a bike, but we also want to be ready for the challenges that your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will face!
To reflect that, we felt the old red square didn't quite speak to who we are anymore, so we've decided to tweak our look. Think of it more as an evolution than a revolution. While we'll still be known as RoSPA, and we're still proud to be a royal society, we've chosen a design that's as simple and elegant as the solutions we offer: expert advice, practical guidance, and, above all, open conversation.
We believe that talking can make a genuine difference. By sharing our stories and experiences, we aim to build a nationwide movement that's committed to reducing life-changing accidents. By working with individuals, families, communities and businesses, we’re committed to sharing information that saves lives. And, at the end of the day, whether we're a square, a triangle, or a speech bubble, that's what matters the most.
