Abrasive Wheel Instructors

Save money - train your own in-house Abrasive Wheel Instructor

Employers have a duty of care to ensure that all employees are adequately trained and capable of carrying out the tasks assigned to them. The Abrasive Wheel Instructors course helps employers meet their legal duties, as a schedule of training is a legal requirement for all those who mount abrasive wheels. Practical demonstrations and exercises are at the core of this course.

This "train the trainer" occupational safety training course teaches delegates how to instruct colleagues in the safe use of abrasive wheels. Delegates will learn how to set training objectives, plan for training and decide what training aids to use.

  • Understand the legal aspects of PUWER 98 HSG17 that relate to training
  • Provides delegates with the ability to instruct colleagues in the safe setting and use of abrasive wheels
  • Once the course has been completed, delegates will have the ability to design, implement and evaluate training sessions
  • Courses are delivered within our own practical workshop or can be carried out within your own organisation.
