Why did you want to get involved in the RoSPA Awards?
We are now in year five of our RoSPA awards journey. The connection to 100 years of RoSPA history sets these awards apart from all others.
"The development of the Awards Excellence Forum will no doubt improve our connections within and outside of our sector."

What can be done over the year to keep drafting the Awards submission simple?
Our submission is planned the way we would plan any other project in our organisation, an electronic file for each question which is reviewed quarterly affording the opportunity for us to reflect and refresh the evidence as appropriate.
Our multidisciplinary team works with stakeholders across our human resource, learning and development, and property teams, which allows us to shape responses that reflect not only the question but who we are and what we do. The process not only builds our teams but provides an opportunity for the organisation to learn.
What hints or tips would you give to prospective RoSPA Awards Applicants?
Don't leave pulling your submission together until January or you will miss opportunities to show your organisation in the best light.
How has joining the Awards Excellence Forum benefited you?
The Awards Excellence Forum will no doubt improve our connections within and outside of our sector. Personally, unlocking the potential in others and assisting them to advance through the Awards is a real interest of mine, putting the experience gained over the last five years into practice for the benefit of the global health and safety community.
