NEBOSH exams

You've studied hard for your NEBOSH qualification and now it's time to take the health and safety exams. Book with us - and find out how we can help you to pass.

We offer health and safety exams for the NEBOSH General Certificate, the NEBOSH Construction Certificate, the NEBOSH International General Certificate, the NEBOSH Fire Safety and the NEBOSH National Diploma. All these exams last between two and three hours and take place in venues all around the UK and throughout the year.

What we offer

NEBOSH General Certificate exam
  • Units NGC1 is assessed by a two hour written exam and NGC2 is a practical assignment
  • NGC1 paper comprises of 10 short-answer questions and one long-answer question - all questions are compulsory
  • NEBOSH exam papers are marked by external examiners appointed by NEBOSH
  • NEBOSH exam venues: Birmingham, Edinburgh, London and Manchester
  • Candidates will receive a certificate for each unit passed
  • The overall qualification parchment will be issued on successful completion of all two units

NEBOSH Construction Certificate exam
  • Candidates must have successfully passed NGC1 (Unit 1 of the NEBOSH General Certificate)
  • Paper CC1 is a two-hour written exam comprising 10 short-answer questions and one long-answer question - all compulsory
  • NEBOSH Construction exam venues: Birmingham, Cardiff, Leeds, Heathrow and Warrington
  • The NEBOSH exam papers are marked by external examiners appointed by NEBOSH
  • Unit CC2 is assessed by a two-hour practical health and safety exam carried out in the candidate's workplace
  • CC2 tests the application of taught health and safety principles in a construction setting
  • The practical assessment must be completed within 14 days of paper CC1
  • CC2 is internally assessed by the course provider and must be marked by an experienced and qualified safety professional

NEBOSH Fire Safety exam
  • Candidates must have successfully passed NGC1 (Unit 1 of the NEBOSH General Certificate)
  • Paper FC1 is a two-hour written exam comprising 10 short-answer questions and one long-answer question - all compulsory
  • NEBOSH Fire Safety exam venues: Birmingham and London
  • The NEBOSH exam papers are marked by external examiners appointed by NEBOSH
  • Unit FC2 is assessed by a two-hour practical health and safety exam carried out in the candidate's workplace

NEBOSH National Diploma exam
  • Units A, B and C are each assessed by a three-hour written exam
  • All questions are compulsory
  • The health and safety exam papers are marked by external examiners appointed by NEBOSH
  • Unit D is assessed by a written assignment of approximately 8,000 words
  • The written assignment is designed to test knowledge across the entire syllabus by assessing the application of health and safety theory and practice
  • NEBOSH Diploma exam venues: Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester
