Course content includes:

• Legal responsibilities of tour operators
• Influencing factors in pool facilities
• Introduction to the principles of risk assessment, including hazard identification and risk control measures
• Safe design and positioning of children’s pool separation
• Critical aspects of pool safety e.g. location of signage, siting of rescue equipment, use of water slides and other features
• Basic pool water treatment including identification and control of common faults
