Motorcycle Diploma Assessment

This two day course is designed for riders with proven experience in post test training, who have obtained recognised advanced riding qualifications and wish to obtain the RoSPA Diploma in Advanced Instruction. If accepted a delegate will no longer be required to take the full five day Motorcycle Diploma Course but will be eligible to take this compressed course.

RoSPA National Diploma in Advanced Riding Course is one of the most recognised qualifications within the training industry. Successful candidates will not only have a highly sought after RoSPA qualification but will also open the door to new career opportunities.

  • Delegates will receive a RoSPA Certificate in Advanced Riding Instruction
  • Entry onto the Driving Standards Agency Register of Post Test Motorcycle Trainers on application and payment of fee.
  • BTEC Certificate in Advanced Instruction on application and payment of the relevant fee
  • The RoSPA qualification (and others available on passing) gained will demonstrate an instructors experience and expertise to customers.

  • Practical instruction in the knowledge and skills required for instructing riders at advanced level
  • Using a radio as a means of providing instruction and the level of knowledge of the available information contained in Roadcraft and The Highway Code
  • Presentation coaching
  • The course will conclude with a 90 minute test of practical knowledge; a test of their riding ability to RoSPA Advanced level and a practical test of their instructional ability.

Delegates with training and advanced riding qualifications accepted by RoSPA. (A list of these qualifications can be obtained from RoSPA on request). Other qualifications may be considered as appropriate on application.

This compressed course is a cheaper alternative to the full Advanced Motorcycle Instruction Diploma.

DIploma holders are able to gain entry onto the DSA register of Post-test Motorcycle Trainers (RPMT), which in turn opens further doors. Please note that entry to the RPMT will involve passing a DSA theory test.

Successful delegates will also be eligible to use the RoSPA Advanced Motorcycle Instruction logo.

Delegates can use the course for CPD and can upgrade their certificate to a nationally recognised BTEC qualification.
