Provides practical techniques to assist drivers with reversing manoeuvres
Every year, more than 5,000 people are injured in accidents involving workplace transport. Nearly a quarter of all deaths involving vehicles at work occur during reversing. By attending this course it will help your organisation have a safer workplace for your staff and visitors.
This one day Banksman Duties training course ensures that an organisation meets its obligations to provide training for those involved in the safe guidance of Large Goods Vehicles and reduces the risk of accidents when carrying out common reversing manoeuvres.
We set the standards for road and vehicle safety
Courses are delivered by experienced road safety professionals
Real and practical benefits that delegates take back to their organisation
Flexible study options to suit your needs – including COVID secure classrooms
This course is designed for anyone working in a role that requires them to direct the movement of Large Goods Vehicles in a confined space.
The Award is designed to evaluate delegates' understanding of the role and responsibilities of the Banksman. Assessments include a number of activities that involve delegates in identifying and explaining key legal, health and safety requirements, conducting a dynamic risk assessment and demonstrating hand signals as defined by the Health and Safety Executive.
We recognise that everyone is different and we will work with organisations to deliver training in the workplace at a time and date that meets your business needs.
We can visit your workplace and deliver the course at a time and place to suit you. This is an effective way of training several delegates at the same time, saving on time and travel costs
This one day training course ensures that organisations meet their obligations to provide training for those involved in the safe guidance of Large Goods Vehicles
