Motorcycle training

Motorcycle training to improve riding standards, knowledge and skills

What is motorcycle training?

In Great Britain, 19,297 motorcyclists were injured in reported road accidents in 2016. Motorcycle training instructs riders in the theory and practice of safe systems of deliberate, responsible and admirable riding. It will help keep your riders safe, and your fleet costs down.

"RoSPA’s tailored approach to our training needs means we receive a flexible service above and beyond our expectations. The whole package from booking to delivery couldn’t be easier and with courses delivered from expert trainers we know the training is of the highest standard."

Why take motorcycle training?

RoSPA’s suite of motorcycle training courses will improve your riding standards, knowledge and skills and will help you to develop riding techniques that can make you a safer rider. It will also teach you the most cost effective way to ride your motorcycle. Moreover, it uniquely leads to a nationally recognised advanced motorcycle qualification!

As an advanced motorcycle rider, you will also be able to anticipate and control situations to reduce your accident risk and ride safely and effectively in all conditions.

Advanced Riding is based upon the 'System Of Motorcycle Control' as detailed in Motorcyle Roadcraft - The Police Riders Handbook. It is unlikely that anyone will gain a high grade without a good knowledge of the current editions of The Highway Code and Motorcycle Roadcraft.
