Awards and Events Administrator

  • Description: The RoSPA Qualifications, Awards and Events department is a very busy, friendly and dedicated team who are responsible for a variety of duties and events throughout the year. An exciting and diverse role has arisen to provide efficient administrative support to the Qualifications, Awards and Events department both in the office and at events/awards ceremonies.

Honorary Treasurer and Trustee

RoSPA is seeking to recruit an independent trustee to its Board to act as Treasurer. They should be a qualified accountant, ideally chartered, with broad experience of having worked within the charity and/or commercial sectors. They will probably be serving as or have served as a Financial Director or Controller of a larger charity and/or medium-sized commercial business, with experience of investment strategy, pension funds, financial systems, financial risk management, liaising with external auditors and investment advisers.

Currently this voluntary role usually takes about 10 days per annum including 4 Board meetings, committee meetings, away days, the AGM and keeping-in-touch time.


RoSPA Trustee

RoSPA is seeking to recruit an independent Trustee to its Board. They should have a professional qualification(s) in health and safety with broad experience within the commercial sector. They will probably be serving as or have served in a medium or large business with responsibilities for occupational risk management. In addition, they will be expected to contribute actively to the broad range of ROSPA interests in safety matters across road, leisure, water and the home.

Currently this voluntary role usually takes about 8-12 days per annum including four Board meetings, committee meetings, away days, the AGM and keeping-in-touch time.
