Introduction to Home Safety

The role of voluntary and professional practitioners in promoting accident prevention is vital if there is to be a long-term reduction in attendances at A & E departments and GP surgeries.

Home accidents can lead to unnecessary pain and suffering and to long stays in hospital. This course is designed to provide an overview of the accident problem and an insight into injury prevention in critical areas.

 An optional one hour City & Guilds exam at the end of the course is available.

Who should attend:

Those working for statutory, community or voluntary organisations with home safety as part of their remit.

It is particularly beneficial to those who are new to or have little experience of home safety.

Qualification and Certification
All delegates will receive a RoSPA certificate of training on completion of the one-day course. This course qualifies for CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points, if applicable.
