What you're missing from Stay Interviews that will improve Staff Retention (in collaboration with Croner-i)

June 14, 11:00 GMT

Almost half of HR leaders in the UK cited employee turnover and retention as their top challenge. With retention a pressing issue for employers, many will be asking the question: "How can I get my employees to stay?" There is no guaranteed way of keeping all your staff from leaving your business, but you can mitigate the risks. One way of doing this is by conducting a stay interview. Stay interviews are a tool that can be used to identify an employee’s motivation to stay, in the hope of rolling this out to others. There are various other retention tools that employers can use and the business must decide which works best, and what they can afford. The focus on individual wants and needs is more important than ever, and this does not have to come at excessive cost.

The Code of Practice: Bringing Products to Market Safely

June 22, 11:00 BST

The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) has been working with consumers and businesses to support the development of a Code of Practice that will help businesses understand their responsibilities to supply safe products to consumers. BSI was sponsored by OPSS to publish a Code of Practice to support business with bringing products to market safely.  PAS 7050:2022, Bringing safe products to market was published in March 2022 and helps businesses meet their obligations under products safety law.  In essence, the Code encourages a proactive approach to sourcing components, legislative compliance and supplier relationships. This 30 minute Webinar will help RoSPA members learn how they can implement The Code Of Practice into their business processes and will provide practical tips and guidance with plenty of time for questions too.  The Code of Practice for Product Recalls, PAS 7100:2022, will also be referenced during the session.
