Manual Handling of People
Teaching you how to move people safety.
In November 2015, Ofqual recognised RoSPA as an Awarding Organisation with the authority to award regulated qualifications.
RoSPA's awarding organisation is trading as 'RoSPA Qualifications' and operates separately from RoSPA Workplace Training, RoSPA Fleet Services (RFS), and other areas of RoSPA.
This course leads to a RoSPA Level 3 Award for Manual Handling Trainers / Safer People Handling Trainers.
Our suite of patient manual handling training courses is primarily aimed at the health and care sector as manual handling of people is the biggest cause of injury to both staff and service users. This set of moving and handling of people courses is also very useful to the education sector as we have trained a number of people within academies, primary/secondary schools, special needs/disabled schools.
Our approach to people handling is principle led, which is both flexible in its approach and is focused on the person being trained.
