London Award Ceremony

We couldn’t miss out on hosting a ceremony in the capital city of the UK! With its iconic sites, ancient history and riveting array of ventures, this is the perfect opportunity for you to explore the cultural hub of the South whilst celebrating your tremendous achievements.
Our daytime awards ceremony will be returning to ExCeL London. However, this year our evening awards are relocating to the JW Marriot Grosvenor House London. Find out more information below.
If you are attending both the daytime and evening awards, London’s newest rail line, the Elizabeth Line, goes from Custom House at Excel, to Bond Street in 19 minutes, placing you right in the centre of the Capital to explore the city. From Bond Street, it’s only a 13 minute walk to the Grosvenor.
Daytime Awards Ceremony | ExCeL London
The daytime ceremony is co-located with the Safety and Health Expo, which takes place in ExCeL from 16-18 May 2023. This year they have announced an exciting schedule of talks and networking opportunities to maximise your visit to the UK's capital city, and to turn this into a truly exciting destination event.

The daytime ceremony will take place in the Platinum Suite, and any number of guests are welcome to attend the daytime presentation, allowing all who have contributed to the organisation's achievements to celebrate their success. Informal seating will be available allowing supporters to watch proceedings, whilst your chosen recipient is presented with the award.
Timing is critical to the smooth running of the ceremony and we would therefore make the following recommendations:
Arrive at least 15 minutes before your registration time and wait in the presentation room for your group to be called to register.
Help keep delays to a minimum by adhering to the rule of 'one recipient per award'.
The chosen recipient should report promptly to the registration desk when your group number is called.
We will endeavour to present your award within 40 minutes of registration.
Registration and presentation time notifications will be sent via email by the middle of April for the London ceremony. If you have not received details by this date, please contact the RoSPA Awards administration team on +44 (0)121 248 2090/91.
The dress code for the day is smart business wear. No jeans or casual attire.
The official RoSPA photographers will be on-hand at the ceremony to record award presentations in full colour. Award winners will receive one digital copy free of charge. These will be emailed 10 working days after each ceremony. If required sooner, please order an express digital photo for £55 which can be sent via email within the 72 hours following your presentation (RoSPA Members are eligible for a 10% discount).
Please note that only the official RoSPA photographers will be permitted to take photographs of the award presentations.
Successful health and safety management undoubtedly involves team effort. A great way to recognise the whole team's contribution is with a group photograph. The image will be sent to you within 12 hours, making it ideal for immediate use for PR purposes and in-house newsletters.
Pre-order a group photograph for £55 (RoSPA Members are eligible for a 10% discount).
On the day please visit the group photograph area once you have collected your award.
Orders placed on the day will require payment by debit/credit card.
Evening Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner | JW Marriott Grosvenor House,
Park Lane, London
In 2023, we are relocating our glittering Gala Dinner to the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London, a truly iconic 5-star hotel ideally located on Park Lane in the heart of Mayfair.
The Great Room, where you will sit to eat, began life as a vast ice rink, where it is said that our past patron, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, learned to skate in 1933.

Tickets are available at £299 for RoSPA Members, and £335 for Non-Members. Please note that tables are set for 10 guests.
After placing your online booking you will receive an acknowledgement email. Your booking will not be complete until receipt of your invoice and official booking confirmation email – which will be sent from [email protected] within 7 working days of placing your order. This will also contain further details of the proceedings and ticket dispatch.
All prices quoted for the London ceremony are plus 20% VAT, where applicable.

- 6:30pm - Drinks reception / RoSPA Members Drinks Reception
- 7:30pm - Speeches commence, followed by a three course meal and entertainment

Evening ceremony host – Rory Bremner
The evening ceremony will be hosted by Rory Bremner, the master of quick and intelligent quips, and one of the UK’s best loved comedians, impressionists and awards hosts.
Rory made it big following his first BBC series Now For Something Else, a variety sketch show where he impersonated Sean Connery and Terry Wogan. He is best known for his regular cameo on Whose Line is It Anyway?, and for appearances on hit comedy spots such as Mock the Week and They Think It’s All Over. His Channel Four show Bremner, Bird & Fortune, won several awards as the best TV satire.
