Asbestos and the critical question of causation

Asbestos work  

The dangers associated with asbestos work are well known and have resulted in a number of asbestos-related regulations and a mass of case law. The general rule is that employers have a duty to protect their employees and, so far as is reasonably practicable, anyone else who may be exposed to asbestos, whether or not they are at work. A significant issue related to asbestos litigation is that of causation.
