Protecting the integrity of RoSPA Qualifications

At RoSPA Qualifications, we are committed to maintaining the integrity, credibility and quality of the qualifications delivered through our approved centres around the world.

We are aware of instances where organisations or individuals have falsely claimed to offer RoSPA Qualifications training or have made unauthorised use of RoSPA Qualifications certificates and branding. Such activity is misleading and may affect learners, employers and other stakeholders who rely on the authenticity of our qualifications.

Our commitment

As an Ofqual-recognised awarding organisation, RoSPA Qualifications takes any misuse of its qualifications, certificates or intellectual property seriously. We work closely with our approved centres to maintain high standards of compliance and to protect the reputation and value of RoSPA Qualifications for all learners.

To support this, we continually review our processes and introduce measures designed to strengthen certificate security and improve the identification of fraudulent activity.

What learners and employers should know

RoSPA Qualifications certificates are only issued for qualifications delivered through approved RoSPA Qualifications centres and in accordance with our quality assurance requirements.

Every RoSPA Qualifications certificate contains a unique certificate number that can be used to verify its authenticity.

To validate a certificate, visit: https://www.rosqualqms.com/public/validate

Simply enter the certificate number shown on the certificate. The system will confirm whether the certificate is valid and has been issued by RoSPA Qualifications.

If the certificate cannot be validated, or if you have any concerns about its authenticity, please contact the RoSPA Qualifications team for further assistance. We take all reports of suspected fraudulent activity seriously and will investigate where appropriate.

If you are unsure whether a training provider is approved to deliver RoSPA Qualifications, we also encourage you to contact us for advice and verification.

Reporting concerns

We welcome information from learners, employers, centres and other stakeholders who may have concerns about:

  • Suspected fraudulent certificates.
  • Unauthorised use of the RoSPA Qualifications name, logo or branding.
  • Individuals or organisations claiming to deliver RoSPA Qualifications without approval.
  • Any activity that may compromise the integrity of RoSPA Qualifications.

If you have any concerns or would like to verify the authenticity of a certificate, please contact the RoSPA Qualifications team at qualifications@rospa.com.
All reports will be treated seriously and investigated as appropriate.

Working together

Protecting the value and reputation of RoSPA Qualifications is a shared responsibility. By working collaboratively with our approved centres and wider stakeholders, we can help ensure that learners, employers and industry continue to have confidence in the qualifications we award.

We thank our centres and partners for their continued support in helping to maintain the highest standards of quality, compliance and integrity.
