June 2021 saw the British Standards Institution (BSI) publish ISO 45003:2021 Occupational Health and Safety Management. Psychological Health and Safety at Work. Guidelines for Managing Psychosocial Risks. On its release, the BSI stated that “psychological ill-health is the costliest area of occupational health and safety, yet few organisations actually have any in-house expertise in this area”.
