Tackling the UK's safety skills gap: Exclusive member webinar

Be the first to hear the findings of the OSH Skills Commission’s work at our webinar for RoSPA members on 24 June at 11am.

The world of occupational safety and health is changing fast and the UK’s ability to keep workers safe is being tested like never before. Skills gaps are widening, experienced professionals are leaving the sector and the demands created by new technologies, new ways of working and mounting economic pressures are accelerating.

Earlier this year, RoSPA brought together leaders from across industry, education and policy through a series of round table discussions as part of the OSH Skills Commission, to address critical gaps in workforce skills and competency development across industries.

Now, we’re inviting RoSPA members to join an exclusive webinar, OSH Skills Commission: Tackling the UK's safety skills gap, to hear the key insights into the factors that experts believe are influencing skills development and workforce needs, ahead of the public release of a comprehensive report on June 30, 2026.

This member-only session will be hosted by RoSPA’s OSH & Falls Manager, Jules Robinson and will explore:

  • The drivers of OSH skills gaps across the UK workforce
  • How organisational emphasis and policy-level approaches can strengthen or undermine OSH skills and resilience
  • Strategies for developing and sustaining workforce capability.
