The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 (as amended) set out a regime for dealing with materials which can harm people in the workplace. As the title suggests, these regulations require employers to take measures to prevent or control exposure to those “hazardous substances” (as defined).
